Wubbzy is an infectiously lovable cartoon character with a kooky crooked tail that lives in a CGI world of unusual looking animal characters, pink and purple trees, and buildings with zig-zaggy walls. An impulsive young creature, Wubbzy greets each day with enthusiasm and a healthy dose of curiosity and is always on the lookout for a fun new experience. When trouble arises, Wubbzy counts on his good friends Widgit, a lover of machines and master inventor, and Walden, a science whiz, to help him creatively solve even the most difficult problem. In these eight humor-filled episodes, Wubbzy and his friends engage in everything from trying to straighten out Wubbzy's crooked tail to building the fastest road racer ever, stopping a volcano from erupting, and caring for a pet fleegle. While things rarely work out like the three friends plan, they always manage to have loads of fun while discovering the value of things like friendship, liking oneself, helping others, truthfulness, self-restraint, and taking responsibility for one's actions. Our almost-2-year-old daughter is absolutely fascinated with Wubbzy. In fact, we use the DVR to tape new shows on a regular basis. Having the DVD is nice, but not a deal-breaker for us, because the shows are all the same shows we've seen repeatedly on Noggin. The only really good thing about the DVD is that we can take it on car trips (we break out the DVD player as a last-resort when said daughter is on the verge of a meltdown).
If you don't have the opportunity to watch Wubbzy on a regular basis, then it's a great DVD to have. Otherwise, there really is very little point to owning it. I'm hoping that we can get others soon that might have a few new episodes!

My 2 year old LOVES Wubbzy. (and Widget, and Walden...) Nothing like that kooky, bendy, silly tail Wubbzy has. We've seen this episode before, and my daughter just stands in front of the tv. It's an adorable show geared specifically for preschoolers. It's likely a good watch for even younger kids who already watch tv, just for the visuals of the characters and the songs they sing.

Our four year old absolutely adores Wubbzy, and I have to say this DVD entertains her every time we put it in. It has 8 episodes total, and comes in an interesting 3D case that's sure to grab the eye. As a parent, I appreciate shows like Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! that are perfect for the 3-4 year old. It is very fun and educational at the same time. Wubbzy frequently displays a wonderful 'don't give up' attitude even when things don't go as expected. Wubbzy's colorful world is full of oddball shapes and characters, keeping kids entertained and having fun. Because of that, I would highly recommend this title to any parent looking for quality, fun programming for their preschooler.

My two grandchildren ages 3 & 4 think that Wubbzy is the funniest thing they have seen on TV. Since they do not have access to the program on their TV at home, I sent this DVD and they watch it every day. They love it. Good value for the money.
