What The? But Why.. (2008-07-06)
Customer Review : 1
Who cam up with this idea to sell this many DVD's in a collection? First off many of the titles listed can be found at any wal-mart for $5.00. So why in the world would anybody see the $600.00 price tag and say "HEY! Thats a great deal!"
I might would consider buying this set if the price was say around $70.00 just so I would break the set up to resell.
$600.00 HA!...if anybody has bought this set then they have way too much money and not enough common sense.
The words rip off, waste of money, and only the dumb should be in the tags

Waste of money. (2005-09-15)

Alright, I'm not going to review each film as it wou take far to long. I'm rating this collection, the selection is fair at best and the the cost is WAY out of line. It nearly $13 each for this barebone disc is a waste. There is a big blue department store that you can get most of these for $5.50-$8.88. Not worth the price and if you like the collection it can be had much cheaper buying them one at a time. Save your money!

Bad Idea (2004-11-09)

I can't believe that anyone would actually buy this. The average price for these DVD's is still around $12.00 each. It's not a deal at all. If they bring it down to $5.00 each ($150.00 total) maybe I'd consider buying it. Even if I wanted to buy it and the price was right, I already have some of these. Why would I want more than one copy of a movie?

My Rating Is From "A - F" For These 30 Warner Bros. DVDs (2003-12-26)
Customer Review : 1
Yes, folks...it sure looks like Warner Bros. is looking to get rid of a bulk of these DVDs, because they either made WAY TOO MANY OF THEM to sell-off to the consumers so they are unloading most of these bare-bones editions to make way for SUPER-DELUXE SPECIAL EDITION DVDs.

Without further ado, here are my ratings for the following films available in this pack -

Batman (1989): A
Batman Returns: D
Batman Forever: A
Batman & Robin: F
Ben-Hur: A
Blade: C
Blade II: F
Blade Runner: A

Bonnie and Clyde: B (Scenes drag, but Beatty & Dunaway are cool)
Bullitt: C (Yeah, I know it's a cool classic, but it coasts..)
The Dirty Dozen: A
Enter the Dragon: A
Eraser: C
The Fugitive: B (It lost some of its luster over the years..)
Full Metal Jacket: A
Goodfellas: A (This DVD is a flipper!! Half on Side A/Side B)
Heat: A
Lethal Weapon: B (Not funny enough; Not as good as LW2!!)
Lethal Weapon 2: A (Joe Pesci as Leo Getz steals the show!!)
Lethal Weapon 3: C
Lethal Weapon 4: D (Only redeeming quality: Jet Li)
The Perfect Storm: F
The Road Warrior: A (They forgot Thunderdome in this pack!!)
Superman: A
Superman II: A
Superman III: C
Superman IV: C
Swordfish: B
Training Day: C (Denzel's performance rescues this from a "D")
Twister: D (The only redeeming quality: Helen Hunt)

It looks tempting, but I sure wouldn't want any of the Blade films, and would be embarrased to have "Batman & Robin" and "Twister" as part of my collection...If you believe this is worth a buy, just remember that old saying "A penny saved...is a penny earned."
